Do you feel exhausted and suffer from terrible burnout every day? You are doing it all wrong if you tired. You may blame this on your course load or you mom for all the chores you have to do. The truth is, as Gandhi would say; nobody can hurt you without your consent.
Do you want to feel better ? Follow this simple steps:
1. Keep a personal log about what you do the whole day.
This will let you know where does all that energy of yours go. You may be surprised that the tuition class you have been attending, or loitering around with friends may be the root of your problem. In the end of the day, write down the payoff for every activities and remove those with little or no benefit from your list. Repeat this process for one week and you will see definite improvement.
2. Power of Napping
I won't mention all the benefits of taking short naps, but taking naps have been proven to improve your energy level. Just take a 15 minutes nap. Some of you might be skeptical because people will usually sleep for more than 1 hour. The trick is to set an alarm. This might sound obvious but most people would not bother to use one.
3. Drink lots of water
Yes. Dehydration is the main cause of low energy level. Your body needs water to function properly and do you think you could get away with just 2 cups of water a day. Therefore, start now, drink 1 cup of water before you got to sleep and the moment you wake up.
4. Set a fixed schedule
I always impose limit on my work hour every day. After 10 o'clock, no more studying or doing any work. I think every needs some rest and you can't be working optimally after long hour of work.
